The course will develop: an awareness of the range of roles participants play in the workplace supporting adult learners, skills to formally and informally identify potential learners with literacy, language, or numeracy skills needs, familiarity about learning provision in their own workplace and an ability to guide potential learners to appropriate courses. Those completing the unit 1 will take their skills back to the workplace and perform a signposting role |
